As a Connecticut member of BAGS you can play in ANY tournament in ANY division, RI or MASS.,  for no extra membership charge.

All potential members I wanted to give a brief description on how the league is run. This league is for ALL golfing abilities no matter the handicap. You play in as many or as few tournaments as you wish. There is an end of the year Order Of Merit trophy plus several 36 hole championships throughout the season. Everyone that enters the tournaments has a chance to win. We play by the stableford system which means you get points for each hole, by handicap. We are looking for men and women. The great thing about this league is if you like competitive golf and your like myself and love to play lots of different courses then this is for you. We play lots of private courses throughout the season. As a member of Bags CT Division you can look at ALL tournaments in ANY division and enter them. There are 2 divisions within CT BAGS. The "A" Division is 14 handicap and below and the "B" Division is 15 handicap and up. If you place in either division, in the top 8 or so, you win bag bucks which you can use towards the next tournament you enter. You also could win pro shop credits, this all depends on the particular course. There are also (side) bets for some extra incentive to play well. There's a net skins pool, gross skins, zero's pool, closest to the pin pool, hole in one pool, etc. If you have any questions at all please don't hesitate to email or call me.
